I was watching the other night when Harry met Sally, a fantastic film, and Rob Reiner's direction of the movie and the quirkiness and the way they engage with each other. It's a certain type of nuance where you could tell these people not only were very, very good in the film, but the writing really wanted to get into what did it mean to be in love? What is a platonic relationship? What is a serious relationship? What are any of these things?

Now, in between Gen X is millennials and then Gen Z, but I'm raising Gen Z's and I'm a Gen Xer, whereas I know you said you're a millennial and their cousins are millennials. So what was the misstep like? What did we miss? Where do we go wrong? What step did we not take in order to make sure that their adulthood is better than ours and that they're more efficient and more responsible and more self sufficient?
But if I won't even entertain it, if I won't even ask those questions or explore it, well, then I'm more likely to be blindsided or taken in by whatever that ugliness is. Right? And so it's interesting, the fact that we're raising kids to be more resilient in all of these different ways of our humanness, physically, mentally, emotionally. But when it comes to adulthood, and our adulthood is long, we're not doing that same kind of thing
