I have a good time doing it and there's many of you who listen, so I'm very grateful, absolutely. But when I was contemplating it, I talked to a good friend of mine who I've worked for in the past and he used a phrase that still sticks with me now. And I think for all those who do this hobby professionally, I think this phrase really tracks and I think it's something that's kind of buried in our mind somewhere

I'm an author, I'm an international speaker and I do everything and I say everything perfectly and I have healed and I've arrived. No. I'm up here to show you that being a survivor is part of the fabric of who I am. The healing journey is a continuum

And it was like, well, nobody's going to listen and this and that, and kind of just telling myself not to do it. But then Theo other side of me is like, you want this? And this is something that isn't just helpful to get past those fears, but it's also therapeutic. And as a platform, what makes podcasting so great is I grew up with radio. I worked for radio stations, interned with radio stations

You. Hey, Theo. I like this. I like this topic, this conversation piece, this post. This place is where it's my first time ever trying to do anything like this. And I am finding that it is so empowering to be able to share your thoughts and share your story and share your art. And I think this is beautiful that we all come here and we all do it, and I love the support that we all give each other. I think it's amazing

Growing up high school in college, an actual radio booth was just daunting to me, like the concept of looking at this, and even more so with a place that I Internet worked at called Radio Free Hawaii. And I believe I've talked about it here before, but it is this kind of gimmick that they had going on where you could vote for what you wanted to the whole point of the station, the whole concept behind the station was you voted, you called in for what you wanted
