Good Morning- how do we reclaim that greeting?

But even the ones that I don't have to discipline, even the ones that there is somewhat of a rapport, there is still that refusal to release those two words, good morning. Why is that so challenging for young people? And I don't know, and I suppose I won't know. But what I am going to do is next week I'm going to do an experiment. What I've done is I've ordered a counter clicker

This is so strange. I haven't heard I'm not familiar with this being a thing with the younger generations, but of course, you work with them, you notice it. But that's really crazy. I don't know why kids would not say that. I'm wondering if it's like would love to hear your thoughts on this. Have school become more casual? Is it more like, hey, hello, instead of Good morning. Good afternoon? I don't know

Some of them will even dance like I play music in the morning, and they'll even dance to the music. They might not say good morning, but they'll kind of bounce with me a little bit. But for me, that's okay too. So I know it's a strange topic, but again, I was just wondering about that because again, for me, as a child, that was always just something. Whether we felt it or not, we said it
