They lost their last game of the season to Michigan, as I mentioned earlier, and Oregon would have been the 8th team in the expanded playoff if there was one because they lost the PAC Twelve championship to Washington. Now, going back to the top four teams in the current playoff, you could argue that each team has a case to win the national championship
