Most days he'd put on his chaps and spurs, though it had been five years since he'd held onto the reins. But they say there was a time back in the day that as a horseman the old man was as good as they came. He'd sweep out the bunkhouse a couple of times every day and help the cook with the grub. They say that his name been given was Robert, but everyone just called him Bub
