Machine Gun Kelly’s Blackout Tattoo - Thoughts?!

article image placeholderMachine Gun Kelly Debuts Upper Body Blackout Tattoo For Spiritual Purposes
There are a lot of cultural instances of blackout tattoos, but I wouldn't say that they are the vast majority of the person's body. When they do get it, you see things like bands that are very, very thick. Portions of black people get those all the time, but just your entire arm, all your arms, your entire chest and back, and most of your stomach. I mean, it is a pretty interesting thing to see. It's also, I think it should be said here that there is not a singular reason for why somebody chooses to get a blackout tattoo. It's not always because they want to cover up old tattoos. A lot of the times now, you're actually seeing people go from basically zero to, like, full sleeve blackouts as a single tattoo. There are many, many reasons for why people might do it, but in his case, I really don't know if I buy the whole

And it's unfortunate, because I remember being in college and I was never the biggest MGK fan, but I was well aware of his music, but it seemed as if he had a bit of an identity crisis. First, he was this white guy from Cleveland that kind of did a variation of gangster rap, and he was pretty good at it. And then that turned into more alternative music, and he was always believed to have been a scene kid
