What movie will you defend to the bitter end? #AskSwell

article image placeholderUploaded by @Taylor
I thought that the ending of the film ultimately showed what type of person he really is and also how powerful he is, and it was just great for me. So that's definitely my film. Honorable mention being the Batman film with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Uma Thurman. I mean, it is cheese dialed up to eleven and I'm here for it. Anyways, what is that movie that you will defend to the bitter end? Let me know

Movies can be incredibly polarizing. Is there one film that would you go to war for? I know what mine is…and its definitely a spicy take. 🎬🌶️🪖

I also wouldn't defend it to my grave, but this is a movie, I think, that is far superior than what people say. And it kind of baffles me why so many people that way about it. So if anybody ever wanted to have a conversation with me about it, I'd love to just ask them why they hate it so much. Because I don't think it's as bad as people say it is

I don't know that it was the best movie I've ever seen, but I didn't hate it by any means. And I believe Malacheth, it was Christopher Eccleson, if I'm not mistaken, and I really enjoyed him as the villain. I'm a Doctor Who fan, so it was like, nice to see him there. And I just think he's a great actor

@Taylor I would go to bat for the Back To the Future franchise.

You have a very engaging story. I mean, plot and story the same thing, but whatever. It's just incredible. It is definitely still the test of time. People are still quoting that movie. And every year when the anniversary comes up, there's posts on Facebook about it and social media and whatever and all this stuff. And I can say personally, I'm still referencing it to this day, even when I'm not watching it. I'll say, like, roads

It's. Zach, you are awesome, dude, for a couple of reasons. One, I love that you always talk about Back to the Future whenever you have the chance. And frankly, are there people that don't like Back to the Future? I hope not, because then we are in a very broken, broken world. More broken than I ever thought. Back to the Future is what I would consider a perfect movie alongside the Empire Strikes Back

I always find it funny because I have literally built friendships around just making Back to the Future references, like people who I don't know that well and somehow a Back to the future reference happens and all of a sudden it just creates a bond between us. So obviously a great movies, TV defend always. And one I don't think a lot of people are going to argue with and of course, Good Burger as well. I talk about a nostalgia trip. I owned that on VHS

Matt, you just really got me there with Bringing up Steve Dagoda. I can't even believe that for a moment I forgot that he was in that film. And how great was he in it, too? I mean, it's such a silly role, but he's there. One of my favorite, favorite lines from the movie is actually his. And it's just another example of kind of how silly it is. But he said he me to a hospital

Dune

Like, I feel like it could be halfway confusing just because the way characters respond to each other, like, in an emotional sense, it almost feels like it not quite the human we're used to, but I just thought the movie was kind of like it gripped me. So the newer Dune, it came out 2020 something. Maybe 2022 sometime. 2023, I don't know. But that's my pick. It
