So many possession films rely on jump scares. And if you've heard my swells about horror, you know that jump scares are not really my thing. And this is another film that really tries to stay away from those. Sure, there are maybe a couple, but the reason why scenes in this movie are so scary is because the world building and the character development and the ambience that has set the tone throughout the entire movie is scary, right?
