31 Days of Halloween: Henry Selick’s Coraline

And truthfully, I can't say I really blame her all that much because it is spooky the amount of atmosphere and really dread that they manage to build up in this film. A stop motion animation film is pretty remarkable. There are scenes in this movie that are not only emotionally disturbing, but are incredibly viscerally disturbing, and that is a mixture that, admittedly, not everybody is comfortable with from the moment this film begins. One thing that is very evident is that stop motion animation is God tier artistry

Have you ever wanted to just get away? Have you ever felt invisible? If so, don’t do what Coraline did. #coraline #halloween #31daysofhalloween

He was on one of my favorite shows growing up as a kid, gargoyles he's also in probably my favorite horror movies of all time, the Thing and also John Carpenters They Live and many others. So, Keith David, shout out to you

I definitely do know that they took a lot of time to make that movie because of all the different things that has to go into it. So I like how you touched on that. And I honestly do think the ending requires a lot of brain power, because when I first watched it, I was like, wait, what? And then I kind of started seeing theories everywhere online, and so now I'm kind of like, I think Coraline might be stuck in the other world

Hey, Amanda, thank you for replying. I'm glad that you found this series from last year. I started doing my 31 Days of Horror and I got to like, I think 15. You know how it is. Life just kind of gets in the way. But my wife and I are starting it up again this October. So far we have watched two films, which is kind of a miracle for us. But yeah, tune into that as well
