#TellYourStory - The teacher who had a lasting impact on me…

article image placeholderUploaded by @Taylor
In honor of Hashtag tell your story month, I wanted to answer today's prompt. The teacher who had a lasting impact on me. This photo is obviously not great quality because it was taken a while ago, but the guy that you see pictured there, the absolute genius that is Mr. Anstead. What a lovely human being, as you can see here. I mean, just a real fun loving guy. Loved teaching, loved his students, and was one of the most brilliant people I ever knew

Cheers, Mr. Anstead!

It. What a beautiful tribute to him. He would be so pleased probably to hear that, and he probably would be very humble about it and say, no, I didn't do all of that. But in your life he did. He is a shining example of what teachers really should be. You know, my aunt was a teacher. She's passed on now, but she was a good teacher

But she made a lasting impact on me because my fourth grade teacher that I allowed myself to be vulnerable and open up to, I had told her about things that were happening at home, that my mom was drinking, that I was being abused because I broke down and nothing happened. Then I get into fifth grade, it's like, almost halfway through fifth grade, right?
