Question 1

You question number one. Born in Birmingham, England, in 1948, this guitar god is often credited as the very first great heavy metal guitarist. Ironically, at the age of 17, this person lost the tips of their middle and ring fingers in an industrial accident at get this a sheet metal factory. Despite this accident, this player has remained the sole continuous member of his band for nearly five decades

Taylor I believe the answer you're looking for here is Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath. Just some incredible riffs that he has created over the years. And I believe that Ozzy Osborne once said that Tony used to beat him up as a kid and then let him into the band Black Sabbath. But Tony Iommi is the one I think you're looking for here

@Phil

Phil, you are correct. The answer is indeed. Tony Iommi from Black Sabbath. One of my personal music heroes. He's done so much for so many different genres and up and coming musicians. What an incredible talent

Question 2

Inspired by true events, this classic rock staple told the story of the evening of December 471 in Montrose, Switzerland. During a Frank Zappa concert that night, a large fire broke out, inevitably inspiring a classic riff known by millions. What is the name of this song and the band that performs it?

@Taylor

And I think anybody who picked up an electric guitar after 1970 95 has played or attempted to play this most famous riff, but they often do it incorrectly, as Richie Blackmore. I once saw in an interview said that this is actually plucked. And I think that's lost on a lot of people who actually pick up the guitar and try to play this amazing riff. But smoke on the water. Richie blackmore deep Purple machine head

@Phil

Phil, you are correct again. Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple. I believe that the water that they are referring to in the song is actually Lake Geneva

Question 3

In the 2004 comedy film Anchorman the Legend of Ron Burgundy, the titular character breaks out into a small flute performance of this song while in a jazz club. Interestingly enough, the band is well known for the integration of flute in their songs, but this song doesn't actually feature the flute at all

@marklesserart

Hey, Mark, thanks for replying and for participating. Unfortunately, that is not the right answer. It is a fantastic guess because, yes, there is an afternoon delight scene in the film, but no, it was not at the jazz club and the flute was not involved. But thank you for trying the other questions. I think when some of the answers come in, you'll be like, because they're definitely familiar faces. So talk soon and thanks again

Question 4

When people think of Metallica, they often think of the shredding solos of Kirk Hammett, the lead guitarist for the band since their very first debut album back in 1983. But did you know the guitarist he replaced went on to have an incredibly successful career with his own band? Who was the original guitarist for Metallica? And what is the name of his band?

Question 5

You no longer with us. This drummer is remembered for his absolutely unbelievable technical ability, but also for his enormous revolving drum set that he sat behind with over 15 drums, over twelve symbols. Among other things, his set was surely one of the most magnificent in the world. Who is this drummer?
@Chief2
Zach Hillard

@Taylor

And I do know, or at least I think I know, that he had a big drum set because I was studying with another drummer in a program that I do in music, and I believe he said that Ringo Star had a really large drum set. So I'm going to go. Final answer. Ringo, star? This is the only one that I was able to get a stab at, so hopefully I'm right, but let me know
@Taylor

@Chief2

There were a lot of rock and roll drummers before him that I think are fantastic. But with that British Invasion, we really started to see things change and evolve over time, and he was right there at the heart of that. But it is actually not ringo Star. So I can give you one guess that may point you in the right direction

I'll try to recommend some songs that I think are particularly fascinating for Neil Pert. But my final answer, my suggestion to Zach here is Neil Pert of Rush

@Taylor

Hey, Taylor. Zach here. That's a real bummer. I thought I had it. But I have one more guess, based off of your hints. Thank you for the hints. Now, this is a very obscure drummer that not a lot of people have heard of, so this might not be I'm not very confident, but it's the only other name that's coming to my head, so what's the worst that can happen?
@Taylor

@Chief2

You, Zach. Another really great guess. ERTO I mean, wow, I haven't heard that name in a while. Really great guess again. Not the one I'm looking for. So maybe I'll give you let's do one more hint and see if that can nail it for you. I think that the revolving information how I said that the drum set revolves would have likely been a dead giveaway if you were familiar with the drummer beforehand
@Chief2

@Taylor. I’m stumped.

Hey, Taylor. Zach here again. I am officially stunned. I have to forfeit. I'm excited, though, to see who the band is because I do want to check them out and see what they're all about. So. Yeah. Phil, take over. Do me in. I'm done. I forfeit. I had a good time guessing, though, and I'm definitely going to check the band out when you tell me what it is. Thank you so much
