It wasn't the gifts that really gave me the fond memories, it was the quality time that I spent with my loved ones, the savory dishes that just made me think about Christmas, baking cookies for Santa with my grandmother, my favorite foods, watching my favorite films. It's just the cozy vibes or whatnot, me building ginger bread houses with my kids and baking cookies and all those things are just memories that are a gift in itself

Now we're older, we always look back and be like, the gifts were so cool, but it's mainly the time spent with family and the food and the quality time and just that undisturbed time where you're hanging with family and sharing good moments and memories and that's what's always been for me and the joy. So, yeah, you have to really be conscious of what the holidays mean to you and yours and I appreciate you raising your children in that way
