Mental health reflection

A lot of people don't understand the different symptoms of somebody struggling with mental health. And most of the time when you're struggling with mental health, you do not want to burden your loved ones. And part of it is not having that safe place to have a conversation about the topic at hand. So if you ever feel that you have nobody to talk to, definitely reach out because there is so much to live for and it really depends on what stage of your life you're in

My mental struggles

Like, my mom's gone. My cousin Tina, who was actually a sister of me, my brother, my father, they're all gone. It's just me and my kids and my granddaughter and my fiance and his children. My mom's side of the family pretty much wrote me off. They don't talk to me. So this year is rough. My mom passed away. It's been three years last month. My brother, it's been two years in February

But today I would like to tell you that the most important thing is your change and your healing is for you and for those who support and love you and show up for you genuinely and authentically. And that sometimes we do have to cut ties with those who don't support us, who don't empower us because it could be dysfunctional and toxic. So all I can say is any sort of progress is a victory and you are a survivor
