Mental Check up: Post Holidays

article image placeholderUploaded by @TalkswithDoll
Is there something that is weighing heavy on your mind right now, on your heart? Is there something that someone or yourself can do to help you feel loved and supported? What is your favorite holiday memory? Like sights, sounds and smells come to mind. What is something that you tend to do together with loved ones, even if they are a part that would be good for your mental health? That is part of the holiday mental health checkup

But then every time the holidays come around, I'm very sad. I'm depressed, and I realize that I have a lot of more so sad memories dealt with around the holidays than I do happy ones. And then as I dig further, because I'm a person that likes to dig, I learned that there's no such thing as seasonal depression

Hello, BRZY sending you a virtual hug. I tend to like to do mental checkups often because it reminds me of myself when nobody used to check on me. And definitely someone who used to suffer from depression and sometimes gets anxious. It could be very difficult to be able to articulate regulate your feelings and find a safe haven
