When do you think artificial intelligence will gain self consciousness?

article image placeholderUploaded by @taha_oracle
What it means is that a software or a machine being able to make its own decisions, having empathy, being humanlike sky is the limit. So when do you think that artificial intelligence will be able to gain self consciousness? Now, that's a tricky question, and I'm sure that scientists are already working on that. Many secrets are not revealed to the masses. And I personally believe that it will take at least 50 years, because so far we have succeeded in imitating human consciousness

Hello. Taha. This swell is very informative. I am always reading about this and I'm always shocked to how AI is advancing. It's very informative and we do agree with all the points set by you. And let's hope that all the technology is used for the good of society and does not cause any bad side effects. Thank you

And through those language models, we can have a human, like a conversation with an AI and actually talk with them, impose ideas, get insight, actually generate new novel that's redundant but novel ideas from talking with things like Chat GTP, which I use on a daily basis. We also have advanced systems for autonomous driving and systems that monitor the stock market, right? So we already have the capability of intelligent learning and deep learn and the ability to refine an artificial system into something much more efficient

Hello. Your comment is very interesting. It's fascinating how you've put it. You've highlighted that how AI is processing huge amounts of information that is humanly not possible to do. So it might evolve into something that none of us have ever imagined. Something totally different, something really out of the box. And to answer the question, that how humans will take it and how they'll react to it. I think maybe we might be in the stage that we're already accepting it

But I'll go to Chat GDP, I'll type in a few things, it'll give me a blog and then I'll refine it and I'll post it. And then I have my content out there. I'll make sure it's correct, I'll make sure it reflects what I would do, my process and all that. And it's extremely helpful. So I have implemented this AI into my life

They say that in the future, the AI will be ruling the Earth and it's interesting that we are the ones who will be creating that monster if it turns out in a dark way. So, yeah, thanks once again for listening and your response

So, yeah, there's all kinds of things that we have to consider with it. And Ray Kurzwell has talked about creating a body regulatory body overseeing the development of AI. And I think that's a very, very good idea and something we should consider ASAP. So, yeah, that's what I got to say. And this is a very interesting conversation. I'm willing to keep going with you, by the way. All right, bye

Hi. I hope you're doing well. Thank you so much for your response. Those were some great points. And I'm really happy for you that you are about to publish a book and sounds really exciting and looking forward to hear from you in the future. Take care

Hi. Welcome to Swell. And this conversation, it's going pretty well so far. Just in case you are wondering where you can get get a chance to watch artificial intelligence films that are not only inspiring, but extremely entertaining as well. You can watch artificial intelligence. The film made by Steve and Steveberg. You can also watch Bicentennial Man and of course there are many, but I'll just mention the ones I can remember and you can add more if you like. I robot is very interesting

I think at some point, AI won't need researchers to build it and develop it. It will look for information on its own and start to draw and make its own conclusions based on logic at speeds that a human could never do or never achieve. I think that would have to be the NextUp step before we would get to a point where we could say that an AI actually has its own self awareness

The AI is in the midst of its own evolution and even after gaining self consciousness or awareness, it is going to constantly evolve and eventually be able to replicate, as you mentioned, or clone itself. And if it gets out of control, then like we see in the movies, it will create its own army or religion and it will be communicating through its own network

And all the things I will install in my watch or something, like in a glasses or something shoes and something funny. Not funny. I don't know what to do in my life, but somehow I would love to make or become an activation something so in the last take care, buddy. You're doing very well and keep it up. Bye

And it's fun when you meet people who are on the same frequency or on the same page and they work together to create something that has never been seen before, which is their dream project and manifesting that is truly a dream come true. And I'm sure that if you are already thinking about it, you will be able to accomplish it soon and I pray that all goes well for you. God bless you. Take
