Is there a limit to freedom of speech? Then, where do we draw the line?

Just like we can't roam naked on the streets for the sake of freedom we have to wear certain amount of clothes for the sake of diplomacy or acceptance according to the country we are living in. Similarly, we have to communicate at a certain medium according to the audience. And that is where the challenge lies. That's where the ethics come in. That's where the rights come in. That are we taking freedom of speech for granted? Are we using it the right way?

So this is another great topic. I think you're spot on. I live in the US. And freedom of speech is ingrained in our culture. It's part of our society. But I think people sometimes think that freedom of speech means that they're also free from consequence, and the two are not the same. You can go out in the street and say a mere of different things. You can say whatever you want about different people, you can disparage different cultures, whatever you want

I agree 100% was what next said. I'm going to add one little tidbit further. And that is you have the freedom to say what you want, but you can't hurt people in the process. For example, a crowded theater, a crowded club. You can't run in there and shout Fire. Or pop a firecracker or whip out a gun and cause a mass hysteria. And people are trampling over each other to get out. You can get in trouble for that
