College from your prof's POV

And it's also good because they know what it's like to be a student. One thing that's also worth thinking about is your college professor went to college to teach because they want to teach. They love the subject and they really think when they first start teaching I'm thinking back to me 20 years ago, they really think there's going to be a classroom of students who are just like they were when they were 18. And it's really an eye opening shock to a lot of them

I'm really curious. What have you taught? What do you teach currently? And yeah, this is just so helpful just to think about your professors as people. Right? It took me a long time to learn that. And, yeah, I invited some folks from Swell who are college students, so would love to connect you to college students so that you can share all your wisdom. So, thank you again for starting this. And yeah, I can't wait to hear more

Remembering that my teachers were once students in college really does help me humanize them too. And it brings me a lot of comfort knowing that they were once in my position and understand how how overwhelming it can get or how hard things can be. And so, yeah, that really helps me humanize them and everything a lot more and form better connections with them

Or instantly being like this scholar who was so prepared to tackle everything and was always the top of the class. Like. Her having to really work for that position and admitting I didn't come in knowing everything. Like. I had to work at this. And it's like a constant thing that I'm learning and growing was so impactful for me
