You can go to most places in the country and there's going to be decent sushi. So anyway, I know I had a swell earlier about sushi, but I'm redoing it because I actually eat sushi a lot. So yes, there's sushi, happy hours, but then there's also regular sushi. That's not happy hour. I prefer the happy hours just because it's cheaper. But what's your favorite sushi? You. So as a canadian girl with sadly lots of food allergies, I have found sushi to be my saving grace if I want to treat out, especially my favorite, which is a green dragon. No cucumber please. Lots of avocado and tempura shrimp, some teriyaki sauce, some fish eggs on top. Melt in my mouth, making my mouth water just thinking about it. But that's my go to, even if it's just to pick up and bring home

The woichiba, which is the fish market in Tokyo, has the best sushi restaurants open at like four or 05:00 in the morning. And I found out that if you order yellowtail and you just say hamachi, which is the standard word for yellow tail in Japanese, and you just ask for hamachi, hamachi kurasai, they'll get a little bit offended and they'll say, we're not just someplace with yellow tail.
