Had smoked soy sauce, had house hot sake, and had what's called a bumblebee roll and also spicy tuna roll. So these are sort of out of the ordinary kind of typical rolls, but nonetheless, they're still rolls. They were delightfully tasty. It's not the best sushi that I've ever had, but considering that it's been a while since I've had sushi, I would say it was pretty acceptable

But it looks so good. And I haven't had sushi in so long because I moved, and it's very expensive in the city. But I would say that my best sushi happy hour was a combination of, like, really good sushi but also really good company. I think that made the difference. There's this little place in New York that I can't remember the name of, and it closed down, actually, I think, even before COVID But it was so good

It was the first time that I had had hot sake and even though I was by myself, it was a bit romanticized because I just have these beautiful memories of the snow falling, enjoying my hot sake for the first time, and delicious sushi. So I so appreciate your sharing and I think that it's kind of a bonding experience too. And I'm so happy that you have those great memories with your dad. Thank you again for sharing

I moved away, so I don't know if the airport, the benny Hana near the airport, which happened to have a really great sushi bar, if that's still open or not. But, yeah, thanks for reminding me of those memories of the Benihana sushi bar, which was actually pretty good. It was pretty darn good. And, yeah, especially because you could watch the planes. You. Thank you for your input, Gary. That is so funny, because I actually have been to that Benihana sushi bar, but it was back in 1993. I have no idea if it's still around because I have not been back to that Benihana. So, yeah, south Francisco. And it was a sushi bar, but it was so long ago. I don't know. And it was good. Yeah. So. Wow. You brought back an amazing memory for me as well
