They burn books because books carry the wisdom and knowledge and where people would rather watch wall to wall TVs than talk to each other. He imagined that world, imagined a world where men would not know the touch of Dandelions. The story moves at a breakneck speed, an urgency in which you get caught in the proceedings while trying to grasp what the world you are in. I think, in fact, 70 years ago, this might have seemed too far

I was so glad to see this book posted, especially during Book Week. And the historic importance of this work, I think, has really been lost on a lot of people, especially as I watch the current events and I see what's happening in the state of Florida, in the United States, where books are being pulled out of school libraries only for a pending review to make sure that they are okay to be put back in library. Unbelievable stuff

Hi, Phil. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about this book, and I'm glad that my review prompted you to read it again. And thanks for sharing how you perceive the current state of affairs in relation to some similarities that are depicted in the book, which one day could become reality. So, yeah, it is scary and that's why it's important to read something like this, which is a good reminder
