One thing I learned as an engineer that has been useful in life in general...

Just breaking down an unfamiliar and scary thing into smaller components, trying to think about how they interact, trying to think about what the required inputs or data is, and ultimately, the output that you're trying to get to. It just happens almost subconsciously, because you get trained on doing that as an engineer and just approach every sort of aspect of your life that way

Hey Sumit, thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I completely agree with you. I think breaking down a bigger problem, a complex problem into smaller pieces and then trying to attack them is something that you are trained as an engineer and it is a very, very useful life skill.
