Many of us find it hard to grow up from that stage. Growing up is realizing that respecting the narrative of others does not diminish our own. So how do we unlearn the rainbow? It is easy with the rainbow because we are not emotionally connected to it. Accepting that the rainbow does not have seven colors does not really lead to identity crisis
