I used to believe this as a child. I was so wrong...
When I was small, I used to remember this particular quote or proverb, ignorance is bliss. As I grew up, I realized, well, truly ignorance is bliss because once you take on responsibilities, it's very difficult to be just carefree or blissful. Responsibilities are very serious. They're not fun or laughter. They require hard work, problem solving, crisis management, a lot of negotiation, lobbying perhaps. And I learned that, well, ignorance is bliss
