Hidden behind closed doors!

And I think that if I would have been closer to my father, a, I don't think this would have happened, b, I feel like I could have opened up with him because I didn't trust my mom. My mom, I do not know what happened in her childhood because I know for a fact I had amazing grandparents. And she claims that my grandmother was kind of verbally abusive

Hey there, just wanted to let you know that I am listening and I received this. I have a lot to say, but maybe I'll wait to share it till your next post. But basically I just wanted to say from listening to this, I think it's really amazing how you have been able to who turn things around and show up differently for your sons

Oh, and I also wanted to say I meant to include this on here, but for future reference, it is possible to just keep writing or keep sharing another voice demo in this webcast so that instead of starting a whole new one, you can just respond to yourself. And that way people don't have to go find the other one. It's just, like, threads right into it. So I know people do that sometimes and it's helpful

But I know that I certainly tried a lot harder than she has or ever will. So I'm okay with it. And it's an everyday thing. It's a work in progress, and my boys and I talk about it and they have let me know how they feel about certain things. And as long as we can keep that channel open, I think that I will continue to have some healthy, happy boys. And in turn, I will have some healthy, happy grandchildren
