Anyone hanging on by a thread?
You. I'm just curious out there if I have anybody that is in the same boat with me. I am currently in a job. I've been here about a year and a half. I actually work remotely and I am hanging on by a thread. I work and work and work. I've already worked almost one 2 hours today. I get no recognition. Instead, I recently had my performance review where I quote am below expectations

One thing about the company I work for, and I'm not saying I don't have any challenges, so I will tell you that right off because I do. Sometimes I feel so unappreciated, especially with the pay because they don't pay enough. And I literally work 24/7. But I'm on a salary and as a director, I have to run a lot of things and I'm often the go to person, the person who they look for to have the answers and just move over everything

And as I was growing up, I always wanted to be someone who broke that, who came out of that that struggle, who kind of created a new forefront for the future for our family. And I started working when I was 15. I held down three jobs, sometimes four, and I'm 36 now, so for as long as I can remember to the day. So every day kind of feels like I'm hanging on by a thread. The struggle is definitely real
