How can there be peace without justice? Emmett Till’s accuser dies at 88.
The sheriff said that he didn't want to bother her and also claimed that he couldn't locate her because he didn't want to upset her or bother her because she had two young children to care for. In December of 2021, th the justice department closed their final investigation into the case. So I ask you, how can there be peace without justice?

I think it's important to continue to talk about this amit told story. And the fact that there has not been justice yet and that this woman just died is almost like a sad chapter closing. I don't know what can be done legally, but but it's just tragic. It's just a horrible story. Thanks, I guess. I don't know. I'm curious what others think about it too. Asking what you all think. Would love to hear some thoughts

You. I think you're right by saying that we have to keep talking about it, and that's how we find hope and find peace. I think if we keep his memory alive, remember the history of this country and try to do better and try to get the people that represent us to hold people accountable when they commit a crime against humanity. So you're totally right. We just have to keep talking about it. We need to know our history
