So I pull up and I noticed that it was closed, but it had one of those card readers so it was easy to still get gas without the need of an attendant. However, all the convenience store things were all closed off and I had thought to myself as I looked at the closed sign, man, I could really go for a drink about now. Maybe an energy drink just to get me going, keep me going through this last hour and a half
I know what it's like to be chasing that needle on the gas, chasing the empty e sign, the gas needle. And it's a terrifying, anxiety provoking experience. So I'm grateful that your wife was able to sleep through it peacefully. That shows how calm you were throughout the challenges. And so, anyway, I just want to speak to that. Safe travels
Wow, Chris. I would have freaked myself, man. That would have totally freaked me out. My heart would have, like, started pumping so freaking fast. I would have threw the gas thing, jumped in the car and just took off. I was like, nope, not today, evil. Not today. But, yeah, thanks for sharing the story
