Is having House help these days a status symbol rather than a need?

article image placeholderUploaded by @SmitaRuth-24
It's been almost four years now that I have gone house help free. I had house help before COVID and during COVID I had to let them go because that time only senior citizens were allowed to have house help. But I did financially support my house help during the COVID So the topic I want to discuss today is house, house, house, house, house, house help days status symbol need because I'm looked down for not having one

And often what happens is I can speak for myself, as lady of the house, I did find myself stuck with so much on my plate. Right? So then again, it's a question of outsourcing it and making sure that my priorities, I know I still stay focused on my priorities and find some time for myself. So I don't look at this as a status symbol at all. At least where I am currently living it isn't. But well, each to his own, right?

And if someone says it's a status symbol this that, then I'm really sorry to say, then all those people, the male members should take the initiative to come and help the females of the house. Okay, they are earning the title but they should wear it as a pride badge, not as a comment or not as a negative thing. And yes, definitely I do owe a lot of respect and gratitude for the lady who comes to my house in my absence

You're doing it for yourself. So if you are a working female and if you have help in a house or you don't have her help in a house, but if you're still managing your house chores and still doing your housework and office work and doing it nicely, still it is your choice. You will not keep a house help just to fit into a circle or a community. I have moved in a premium society a couple of years back and here it is looked down
