article image placeholderUploaded by @Smiley_Lydia250
In school, I'm studying family science with an ultimate goal of obtaining my Masters of Social Work. I've worked in residential treatment for mental health for the past two years, and I have seen the difference quality family involvement can make. At this point, I've yet to become an active participant in the world of family policy. I haven't gotten involved with how it affects my clients, my future career and my life. I can see the roadblocks that are sometimes created by policy

I’m getting acquainted with a new college course and want to invite you to join me!

Hey, Lydia, this sounds like an awesome class and I'm so happy that you're choosing to take us on this journey with you because I would love to learn more about family policy seeing as I know virtually nothing about it. So it will be really awesome to learn through you and through you with your specific background and your work ah, with immigration policy and stuff, I think that's that's that's going to be so cool. So I'm I'm excited. I'm tuned in

I've been pondering things people have said about you would be good at this, you would be good at that, but then recognizing the benefits lost
