Closer to the exit, the other three boys stood in the doorway, leaning on a thin metal poles designed for the riders to hold on to for safety. They turned when she burst into loud laughter. Other passengers also caught glimpses of her giddiness. Her slanted eyes appeared closed as her cheeks rose with every word he spoke. After a while, her cheeks froze in an upright position. I sat there smiling animated about her excitement. For my observation, it was evident that she liked him

From your observation of how they looked at one another, gazing upon one another, just pretty much touching each other literally with their words in their eyes. It was just truly warm. Very warm. It felt like a hug. Thank you so much for sharing it

Don. I loved your short story and how descriptive you were in writing this short story, because it just pulled me right into the scene right there on the train. And I was able to visualize the scene that you were describing and that moment. And then I could hear it in your voice as well, that that love of that excitement of being in young love. I could hear it in your voice. So just such a beautiful story and just your way of sharing it with us
