Hey y'all. I do know it's 2022 and we are entering into 2023 very soon. But is this education system that we were looking forward to where a third standard child is taught what we were taught somewhere in like fifth standard, a third standard child who doesn't even know what is a seed, what is a root or what is a root system is being taught a monocultilodorn seed and a dicortiladorn seed. How? I don't really understand

I think we still have the Victorian hangover in many ways, and we are preparing our children not to think for themselves, but to become those resources that the world your needs in terms of whatever is the current trend, how do you equip yourself to be able to meet the expectations and the needs of the current trend? We are not preparing them for the tomorrow. We are not preparing them to be independent thinkers

And so for them, if their child doesn't do well in mathematics, then that's end of story, end of life. And there is immense pressure despite the fact the guy could like art or sport, but they will focus on at least get your Stem marks well. And part of this is because of their years of conditioning, their years of belief system. And so you see how the cycle, it's all intertwined here. There are educationalists who think brain is a sponge

It is if you become an engineer, you get employed and you get more salary. So our economic strata will go from one level to the other. It's an escape from mediocrity. Now, one can counteract you and say what's wrong with that? We want to progress. That's how India has done so much better. Look at some of the neighbors that we have around India. They have followed the other doctrine of not following education and relying on something else

I think it's lucky for my child. What's wrong? Do you experiment with your child? No, but I want my child's life to be perfect. There shouldn't be any problems. Isn't that the responsibility of a parent to ensure that there are zero challenges that my child faces? Yet again, if you circle back into the future and some of these people, when they face failure, they find it exceedingly difficult to confront it. Now, we always hear you fail fast

Why these things can't be succinctly put in two minutes or three minutes without reference to context. But I really appreciate you sharing this and I applaud you again for bringing this conversation out. I have had a similar episode dedicated on my podcast. If you do find some time to check out the Ironman Experience on Spotify or Apple, there are few episodes dedicated on parenting and designer parents and the education system and so on, so forth
