But I know when I first got into the relationship with him, when I would tell my friends and he would tell his friends, people would be extremely shocked at our age difference. And a lot of times I would hear, what could you guys possibly have in common? My friends were like, oh, he's taking advantage of you. You're way younger than him. What the heck could he possibly want with someone your age? He's way too old

As long as you two are consenting adults, who cares what anyone has to say about the age difference in age gaps? If anything, it's a testament to in spite of age and cultural differences, you unite. Anyway, that speaks a lot to that. And he'll, I couldn't even try to date someone with a huge age gap for me because I look like an old fossil. Well, at least I didn't put honest effort into it

Thank you for the response. So, in response to that, I have a question. If you had a daughter, what would you consider an appropriate age gap relationship for her? Or do you feel that there is no such thing? Gap, gap, gap appropriate age gap long as they are two consensus adults

I would say. I do have several daughters, and I don't really think there is such a thing as an appropriate age gap, depending on what that person is comfortable with. So it's one thing to advocate for my daughter as soon as she turns into an adult, that she should date men that have a 30 year age gap. That's highly recommended. I don't think that's the best course to go about it
So, as a society, we love to worry, we love to worry about what other people are doing. We worry more about what other people are doing than we do about ourselves. At least that's what it feels like. Yeah, but I'm pretty sure, I'm pretty sure you've dated men around your age. So, I mean, you're 33 years old. I think you're old enough. You're not like a child

And yes, I mean, obviously, back in the day, the men, you know, they were taking the younger women, but those were like child brides, which is obviously different because we're not you know, I'm not a child. I'm 33
