Chronic Illness Journey: How to Stay Positive
And that's really detrimental to your mental health. And I want to take this time to say, don't do that to yourself. It's important to stay positive. It's important to find a support system. It's important to read books, watch videos of anything with a positive message. Yoga, meditation, exercise. Sometimes exercise is really hard. I've had days where I don't want to do that because I'm sick to my stomach or just way too fatigued
And so all of those things affect my daily life. Even with the CPAP machine, I've had an incredibly hard time with sleep. I wake up really tired. I'm in an executive position. So when I'm doing that work, I struggle to keep it as high level as I would be if I were rested. And then my flare ups really do. Some days keep me in bed and I'm not going to lie
