Happy Mother’s Day Gratitude

article image placeholderUploaded by @ShareTheCareNet
And I was thinking about a little something today as I was driving through a section of Los Angeles where I live where when I was a young child, my mother and I and my father lived in a certain area of the city and back, 50 plus years ago, that area was a very nice area to live in. It was very family, community oriented neighborhood. And you could walk at night, you could probably leave your door unlock if you choose to do that in those days

This is so nice. And it was so lovely to listen to. I think it's underrated and beautiful to share these gratitudes, even if that person that we're feeling grateful about isn't listening or can't listen or to just put that sentiment out there is, I think, a really kind thing to do you and to share it with strangers. There's something so beautiful in that act that really touched me, made me think about me and my mom

Happy "MOTHERS" Mother’s Day💐. #MOTHERSDAY

So what I heard in your story, Ms. Shirley, is as your mother was giving you a grace that she saw that you needed, it was also a grace that would allow her heart to be cared for again. My mother was a caregiver, so she conditioned her life and her heart was for people. But unfortunately, she forgot about her own care at times, and sometimes she put so much into her children that there was nothing left for her
