And caused a backlog at either end of the canal, which are still working through the supply chain. A lot of these are around supply chains. Another 130 miles. Queues of trucks at Dover. Now. That didn't last very long. Fair enough. But that seemed to be as a direct result of brexit over here. Oil. Price of oil. 2021. Crude. Oil was -30 $5. A barrel. -30 $5. A barrel

Thank you for this. Really, I am thankful. But at the same time, it's like it feels like all of it in your face at once is just wow. That's what we call them over here anyway, where the government says, no, you don't have a choice, we're buying this from you. So they're conducting compulsory purchase orders on about 3000 farms. 3000 farms are going to be taken out of production in order to meet their net zero targets. Now, Holland is about the biggest exporter of food on the planet and these farmers are not happy. Some of these farms have been in families for generations

@ShamanicPoet 🤣 Sorry for my rant! Kinda. (Thanks for the space to do so.)

And I'm like, what? Eventually, when you get them to talk about it, they say, well, they're against industrialized farming. And part of it is, yes, the number of animals, but part of it is having to transport the food from wherever it's being grown to the cities, to where people are. But here's the thing. Their alternative is everybody should grow their own food. This is not realistic
