The staying power of love by example, service to the poor, binding of the brokenhearted, and freeing people from their ensnarements has lasting real life consequences. In this manner, faith takes on a face. It gives a seeker a way of interpreting how God works in the world via genuine imagebearing. Ultimately, and in my experience, the gospel of the kingdom, the king's charter of life, and loving commitment with covenant fidelity produces hearts and minds more firmly fixed on his way
