Writers, writing, and chores!

article image placeholderUploaded by @shafali
That thought doesn't get out of your head. So how do you go through your day? Do you become careless at times? Or do you feel angry that you've got to get up and do certain other things while there is a scene brewing inside you. And then the final request that I have to make is that if you want to share anything else about writing and your writing experience, then please go ahead and do it

How do you balance writing with all the other things that you do?

I can only say that I have simply offered you whole lot of choice of books. You can choose from them. Amazing. Incredible, impeccable. Yeah. Those are the words you have to choose from. Soul writer, bad writer or wherever. Those are not allowed. And I would really love to go through all of your writers. Yeah

For me, it is definitely when I have been able to put the concept onto paper, the way I have visualized it, that's number one. Number two is when I am able to achieve the goal that I had in mind with that piece of communication. Right. So there are stakeholders involved, if they buy into that idea or they come back, want to know more, et cetera, et cetera. So I think it's ultimately the buy in that I seek from that piece of writing

Thank you so much for stopping by and for posting your views, posting your thoughts, and in fact, I've learned so much about you in this reply, things that I did not know about you before. I never knew that you are a communications expert and that you write a lot of nonfiction, you write content for marketing, and that is also good

So, for instance, I know a writer who does about 10,000 to 11,000 words a day, and she's a good writer. She's a native English speaker. So I think that makes a difference, a huge difference, whereas I am not a native speaker of English, although I think my English is pretty good. So you sort of begin to compare your output with their output. And you are absolutely right when you say that I shouldn't be doing that

I think being an artist is a way of life. If one doesn't prescribe to that way of life, you know, might as well give it up. The reason why I say this so bluntly is because nor the profession and this is one of my gripes nor the profession patient gets away with this school of thought, right? No engineer goes, Mazani anand karna. They do their job right?

If you want to build that momentum to write, you have to build that momentum elsewhere. Not just in your writing, but in your other activities, in your other aspects of life. And then when you sit down to write. You're filled with vigor and motivation. But if your whole day has gone without you, doing much without productivity, then I think that reflects in how you write as well. But still, as long as you write, I think we are on the right track
