On creating a communication plan

article image placeholderUploaded by @SFlo823
Owning your piece of the conversation, arriving with intention, it's an incredibly empowering and enlightening thing. A great manager is going to thank you for it. A toxic manager will just be forced to be clear with you, and you'll be grateful to yourself for it, because taking charge and covering your b*** is a very, very good thing. That's all I got today, kids. Please feel free to respond, touch base, or ask questions about coaching and communicating

That's that's really good advice. I really like your advice of just a phrase of of getting curious. I think that's super helpful because it, like, also kind of reframes things as, like, in, like, a growth mindset, sort of, instead of like, you know, what did I do wrong? What's missing? What's, like, defective? It's more like, how can we improve what wasn't working?

@r.o

And as a person, as a friend, as a family member, being curious puts everything down all my defenses, all my responses, all the stuff that I think I know. It sort of sets it all aside and helps me be a better listener. So very cool. Very cool that this resonated with you and that there's more to be said about it. So thanks for saying it. Thanks for responding. And thanks for giving me maybe something else to think about
