Day ends with nature’s sounds
You are listening to the beautiful sound of crickets in the evening. I wrote a very short poem that I think addresses the beautiful sound they make at this particular time of day. I'd like to read it to you now. I call it day ends with nature's sounds. As the day ends and the evening begins, Kansas comes alive with prairie crickets. They play their evening symphony in perfect harmony. First loud, then a drop and then silence
