Reading a poem, called Trapped in an Unjust Life

article image placeholderUploaded by @SensibleEnsign
You. Good afternoon, swell friends. I am going to take the liberty of reading a poem to you that I wrote. And I certainly welcome your comments, criticisms, whatever the name of the poem is. Trapped in an unjust life still I feel the weight of life's cruel hand a longing trapped, a soul in demand. Within these confines, my spirit yearns to break the chains, to quell the burns

Good! Interesting! Well done!

First I thought they were very small lines, and then I checked that they were longer lines with rhymes at the end. Think you said in a previous cast that you didn't want to pay attention to rhymes. But it looks as if you tried to organize rhymes and you managed. The poem doesn't feel constrained, and that's what I like. Yes, it's a very interesting poem and I enjoyed it. I would always like to have the written text

You're. Hey, this is Mike Scribe, Seven. Yesterday it was Plato. Today it's William Ernest Henley. I love invictus. And I'm listening to you and I'm thinking, you know, in the failed clutch of circumstance, I have not winced nor cried aloud, and under the bludgings of chance, my head is bloody but not bowed. I went through the whole joint and I daydream a lot, so right

And fees every day. Hey, Mike, thank you very much. That was very kind of you to say all those wonderful things. And I always like to listen to you. You're really a smart guy, and I can tell that you've been through the wringer and you know a lot about life and things. So, you know, I really appreciate anything that that you have to say

They sounded both very interesting and I have a lot more to explore. But thank you for mentioning as well and what a wonderful poem. I will listen again a bit later. Right now I'm going to get ready for a snack. Tomorrow I have an early appointment. You take care. And it's so nice to hear your voice. I wish you were my neighbor. That's what you'd see out your front door if you were

And I think you will like them because you're the same way. But I really enjoy listening to what the others have to say because they have some really wonderful comments and they have the pop, the swell casts of their own, which are just great. And there's a lot to explore on here, so I think you will find it just fascinating and I don't doubt but what there are other artists on here. There is a group called, I believe, Arts
