When shopping companionships go sour
And she was not yet aware of what a complete wreck I became when I was shopping for shoes. She had never been shopping with me before so she had no idea what she was in for. Well, we went to a shoe store and I tried on maybe ten or twelve pairs of shoes. They all punished my feet severely. I felt like someone had put a vise around my foot and my bunion and my hammer toe. So we went to another store

Are your toes going to be, like, smashed up against the edge? I mean, those things are really important. There have been many times I have bought shoes, and they felt good for the 5 seconds I wore them in the store, but as soon as I actually wore them for long periods of time, they were absolute nightmare. They really were. I've had some bad shoe purchases. So, yes, I completely understand the need to take your time in buying shoes

The brand is irrelevant, but I asked what she thought of them, because I had kind of looked at those shoes, but I hadn't tried them. She said they were the best thing she'd ever worn on her feet. Fast forward. I ordered some. I had never tried them on. I ordered them online because the company had a 30 day guarantee. You could wear them anywhere. You could wear them indoors or outdoors and free return. I thought it was crazy
