Rant: πŸ€§πŸ’Έ

Anyway, the capitalistic machine drives me nuts on this because now that I found it, I decided, okay, I'm going to buy it in bulk because it's a little bit cheaper than if I just buy it at three or six boxes at a time, like one of those packages. Right? And so I bought the 18 one this time, and it's more than I would normally spend on Kleenex, but I know I'm getting quality

I think we need our brain's help when we see a sale sign, because sales signs are so persuasive and we need our brains to go when eight. Where did the money go? Why is this suspiciously cheaper? Like, think about it, and then we think about it, and then we don't buy the cheapy bad quality product. Oh, God. Have fun with the 18 boxes. Sympathies

@Binati_Sheth

You're right. If the price is cheaper, then the offset had to come from somewhere. But there are products that I have found that I really like, the quality. And then when I decide to scale up in the number that I purchase and the way that they're packaged, I still can get the same quality product. You can tell that corners have been cut in other places sometimes. Like, let's just use the Kleenex as an example

I guess it's time for tissue paper, art. You go get the nice tissue paper. That makes you happy. The 18 boxes. You could do some cleaning with it or something. I mean, you deserve good tissue paper. I mean, that's the least one wants. Nice tissue paper. That does not make us feeling. Leave us feeling dirty. Yeah, good tissue paper. We want justice for tissue paper
@SeekingPlumb

@Binati_Sheth

It's just. As for tissue paper, it is a day, I tell you. I hired someone to come and take a bunch of junk out of my home because my brother is giving me a massive gift of new furniture that comes on the weekend and the people who were coming to remove things today did not show up and they sent me straight to voicemail. They won't respond to email, nothing. I'm like, seriously, I am on a time crunch

It was a major rock concert because of something, an incident that happened that the police should have gotten involved. But the police said, well, sorry, sir. And yeah, I felt like the venue manager was responsible and they ended up refunding my tickets and giving me free tickets to another show. So you never know what will happen if you speak up, if you have the time, which obviously, since you're moving and everything, you might not have the time anyways

And I can hear the ticking of my watch when my arm is extended away from me as far as possible, and there's other noises in the room. Anyway, point is, with those senses, and because others can't perceive them, then they think I'm lying when I'm not. And so then it's like how do you bring something that's subjective to someone and say anything, right?

The fact of the matter is you detect that there's typically less quality coming out of the bulk tissue than when you buy the more expensive, smaller and get the nicer artwork or whatever. Yeah, everything I say still stands. You're as just as much of a valuable consumer as anyone else. This isn't your fault because of whatever sensitivities that you have or I'm sensitive to dairy and I'm just saying you can put that aside
@SeekingPlumb

@garyplaysbone

And so the corporation has come up with the range of acceptable product. Right. And my granular, subjective experience of it happens to exist within that range. And so to me, to speak up, to take up their time is like I'm pointing out the obvious to them, right? I guess to put this another way, we have the entire spectrum of light from ultraviolet to infrared, right? And let's say they're operating within visible light

But it would be interesting, what if their range of manufacturer, I mean, I'd still consider, because again, you are a consumer, you're more sensitive to these kinds of ranges in their manufacturing process. But what if they didn't understand? Or what if there is the potential that they haven't tightened up their range as much as they should, and that the variability is something that consumers are noticing. They should know that

@garyplaysbone

It's like when you have a company that's that big, the systems in place in order to make sure that things get out, it's so complex and sometimes so convoluted by the time you're that big of a corporation that trying to make it more ideal for the environment or for these things almost have to take a backseat. Not that I like it or anything, but at least it gave me some different perspective and understanding, just like you did when you talked about from the perspective of marketing
