Watching the "magic" of snowfall & its universal pattern. β„οΈπŸŒ¨οΈ

And apparently it found, despite the different shapes of snowflakes, despite the turbulence and how that varies, there are patterns to the velocity and distribution of the snowflakes, which is wild. It's one thing to look at it and watch it and say it looks like there's patterns there, but it's something else to be able to measure that and say, yes, there are actual patterns there. I mean, it's fascinating in a sort of magical way, right?

And then I found this article, which I've put a link to here, talking about, well, it depends on what you mean by Snowflake, whether there really was a snowflake that measured 14 or 15 inches across. But also talking about how the way that snowflakes do and don't clump together, there's a limited amount of time for them to do that clumping from when they start falling from the cloud to the ground. And so that's going to limit how many snowflakes collide and collect

They are all different. And to me, that is dope. That is amazing. It's one of those things where it's like, where does this stuff come from? And I'm speaking spiritually and a rhetorical question. Spiritually? Like, oh, my gosh. Wow. For sure, there is something bigger than me that has brought us together as a collective to experience all of these magical wonders that are right here at our fingertips

We do live on an amazing planet, and I'm so glad that my gratitude, my appreciation, my awe came through to some extent. And yes, I've heard the same thing about no two snowflakes being the same. There is an account I follow on Instagram. I've put a link here to his profile, but then I've taken some screenshots of some of the most amazing snowflakes in shapes and presentations that you wouldn't expect, like the column ones always surprise me

I think snow makes for some lovely pictures, but after growing up in this stuff, I do not miss it at all. I would never want to live in it again. I detest cold and snow, so I'm definitely staying down here in Florida

@JodiLin65

You can keep the weather in Florida. Thank you very much. I always prefer to be able to put more layers on because there's only so many layers you can take off
