Overlaid were schematics, maybe, and she could make notes, or she could record things or rewind and all this cool stuff, and you could imagine then we're getting closer, and if we've had the advancements between Google Glass and vision pro in eleven years, imagine what we could do in a fraction of that time. Now that things are moving faster. I'm not sure how I feel about that

And while we're talking about headsets and price tags, here is an article to another VR augmented reality headset. Price tag is coming in at 25k, but it incorporates sensors that can pick up the user's heart, skin, muscles, eyes, and brain activity, and use all of that information, apparently to continually adapt what it is that you're seeing and interacting with. I don't know exactly what that means entirely, but it sounds impressive

So when I hear things like this, I ultimately want to embrace it. I really want to be like, okay, I see the benefits that we can get from this, because augmented reality will just give us different perspectives and give us more context to things. But I don't know if it'll just be another device that kind of separates us from each other

Yeah, privacy is dead.

But, yeah, I'm definitely afraid of my social media more so being hacked. In fact, sometimes I feel like I had to look at my following on some of my IG accounts and go, did I follow this person? Because I definitely don't like anything you post at all. I don't see it for you. So how did I follow you? Couldn't possibly have been me. I could not have possibly followed you. I don't think I did this

And the fact that these in depth, nuanced conversations are happening is great. The fact that they're happening now, however many decades into the Internet, is a problem. I mean, even with vehicles, we took far fewer number of years to come up with laws of the road and how we have the Internet, and we're taking this long anyway

After watching the demo, you can see everything just as if it was seemingly normal. But I could imagine your depth perception is going to be off. I don't know. It's just crazy that I don't even know. I have no words

And to your point about the ais being able to kind of doing anything for you digitally, I'm actually hopeful about this all that's going to happen, and I know this is going to cause harm and I really don't want it to, but it's going to force us to rethink this entire economic system. Because what happens when you have a bunch of ais trying to hack a bank?

And if I try to not only embrace the positives, but highlight these other further reaching aspects of impact, then I get a there, there, or that's not realistic, or that's not really going to happen, or that's not really a serious thing to consider. Like all of this denial, and I get lumped into the crowd that is like, it's evil incarnate AI and mark of the devil, or whatever the thinking is, right?

As long as the same amount of money is being circulated, how can you possibly knight against it? Unless a lot of these people are holding massive amounts of gold and silver somewhere, I don't know. But for the vast majority of us, for the vast majority of human beings, if the banking system is messed with, there's something you can do. And I feel like that's the only way. At the very least, it'll be a unifying thing for your everyday person
@SeekingPlumb

@MK1981

Oh, you are absolutely right that the money is the ultimate operating system, you could say. And everything else hinges on it. I'm having brain mush over here, so I didn't even see it. But you're absolutely right. There's just so much connected there. And. Yeah. Yes to everything that you said
