Alien anthropologist NOT "disabled".

When it comes to communication differences. To continue with that analogy, humans may not understand the intricacies, the nuances and complexities of the different ways of communicating. And so they can describe me however they want. I know from alien anthropologist study of humans that these differences exist, but I will not pathologize myself when it comes to this particular case. Are there instances where facets of my disabilities should be acknowledged as disabilities? Yes, but this is not one of those

And then I moved to a spot where probably moving into the second year he was diagnosed when he was six, five or six, five and a half, six years of age, where it was more of I need to educate people because he's this brilliant human being. And I understand that the school system recognizes it as a disability, and just overall, general society recognizes it as a disability. The medical community recognizes it as a disability. However, to me, it is not a disability

So you need to give me, like, a very monotonous, routine task, because if you're asking me to be very strategic after three, if I'm not hands on with the patient that's critically ill, requiring me to do chest compressions, and administer all of these very high critical medications which I'm no longer at the bedside. I'm more in an administrative professional role

Some of that aligns with different diagnoses, some of that doesn't. Even how each of us struggles or thrives with whatever official diagnoses we have are going to be different even under the same label. And ADHD people have incredible ability to connect things and to do things really quickly, to be able to pick up on there's talk about how way back they were, the types of people who could pick out there's a hunters and gatherers and so on

The diagnoses definitely help us to better understand ourselves, but they're not the period and they're not definitive in written in stone of what, quote, unquote, is the case for this particular individual? It's an umbrella term that describes a series of traits or symptoms. And there's just more to it. Yeah, I don't remember where I was going. So sorry

Okay. It's only an hour later, and I finally remembered something else I wanted to say. Do you know how you were talking about how when the psychiatrist mentioned spectrums and how everybody seems to be on spectrums and that's even your personal experience of running into people. I'll just throw this in and this might muddy the waters, but there you go. There's two things to this, and there's sort of like this running jokes within neurodivergent community, except they're also very real

Thank you so much for just your well thought out response to what I had to offer. And I appreciate that you were able to understand what I was aiming to bring forth or what I've aimed to bring forth. So thank you so much. And thank you for bringing this raising this to the awareness of the public, because more people need to have these conversations
