"Sex education" and it's necessity

article image placeholderUploaded by @Saumyajit002
Now sex education highly focuses on giving knowledge to the teens about the sexual behavior which they are likely to face while growing up and this would keep them away from sexual abuse or violence. They will be not ignorant or uninformed of the wrong touch irrespective of the gender identity and exposure to the growing youth might also reduce the formation of trust and give them an understanding to normalize things in a positive way

Hi Swamijit. I think you raised a very valid point. I think sex education is very important, especially for a country like India where sex is a taboo topic. And what better way to educate the students than in school, right? Definitely education should involve information about sexual abuse, how to deal with it. But I also think that if there was ever a sex education curriculum in India, it should also include sexuality, gender, and all those complicated things that we all seem to be confused about
