What was your favorite DCEU movie?

article image placeholderUploaded by @SanedracSays
We're ten years from man of Steel. This has been a ten year journey where we've just had these crazy ups and downs with these movies. And so I just wanted to throw it out there and ask everybody. Which ones did you like? Me, personally, I was a big fan of the first Wonder Woman. I liked that one. Aquaman, I enjoyed. I don't know if I'd call it my favorite, but I definitely think it was one of the stronger entries

The DCEU will be leaving us with a controversial legacy. But what was the high ooint for you? #DC #movies #comics

But essentially when she was fighting at the trenches, she had that amazing scene, and I appreciated how they made her block and just completely destroyed the enemy. And I find that to be fantastic. And it was cool to see Wonder Woman practically kind of be like Captain America in that aspect, trying to defeat the enemy with just him self. But, yeah, Wonder Woman and Aquaman are my favorite DCEU movies. And, yeah, this was a great question. It was fun to think about

But, yeah, there's so many things about that movie that I enjoy particularly, like you said, kind of like Captain America. It's a period piece. And the whole thing with her just fighting a very intense war on her own in a lot of ways is really enjoyable

I also like the way that the movie story was told and how it wasn't chronological. I like the journey that we saw from young Clark, who also did a great job, and adult Clark and Superman later on in the movies. TV like that, we weren't given a hero's journey from beginning to end

I think it's definitely the best of, I guess, the Snyder trilogy, if you will, when you count that BvS and Justice League. But, yeah, it was nice to just see what Superman was up to. And we never got a sequel to it. We got a story that was about characters in the DC universe that followed it. And then we got another one that included even more DC characters that followed that. But we never got to see what Superman was up to

Hey, Matt. How you doing? It's simply lammy, and I really like your question. Great. Swell. It's a great topic. I've been a big fan of DC Universe for a long time. I've read a lot of the comics. I've been a big fan of Marvel and all that. I think pertaining to your question that you asked, my first, my favorite DC Universe movie is man of Steel

So when you're citing the DC storyline, I just really love that you have something to validate your opinion on based on reading the comics. I don't read a lot of DC. I think my comic breakdown is like, 10% of what I read is DC, 20% is Marvel, and then the rest of it is usually independent titles from Image or Boom, one of those third party publishers

@Joshawah_Ross

I'd put it in the bottom half if I were ranking all the DC movies. But I do admit that it's not as bad as people say it is. I think that's something that bothers me more. So, like I said, it wasn't one of my favorites, but I wouldn't say like, I disliked it
