The Mandalorian: S3E3 recap

article image placeholderUploaded by @SanedracSays
It's. Hello, everybody, and welcome to another edition of Stain Draxes. My name is Matt, and I'll be coming at you with another television episode, recap. I'll be shifting from Ted Lasso, which aired yesterday, to the Mandalorian, which also aired yesterday. So this is my first time. I'm going from episode to episode with regards to these TV reviews. I'd already talked about episodes one and two. Episode three was okay. I wouldn't call it great

A weird side story that I’m sure will make sense later. #StarWars #DisneyPlus #streaming

I need to be paying attention now so I understand who these characters are, because it feels like we're going to be with them for a while. So hopefully we do get some payoff for that in the coming episodes, some more elaboration on what those characters roles are in the story moving forward. But I appreciate the recap. I don't think I've listened to your first two, but I did just notice this one come through, so I figured I'd give you a reply

So as long as they keep doing that, I think they can add as many side stories they want to add to the world building, just so long as they don't forget that the heart of this show is with Dinjarin and Grogu. So anyways, thanks for the response. Hope to hear from you again soon

I'm going to be posting another review on the most recent episode later today, but it seems like they're building their story much slower and there's not a lot of you know, there's certainly some action, but there's not a lot of focus just yet. And they're putting a lot of building blocks to make that focus much slower than you would expect. But I think that tends to happen with these Disney plus series

And I didn't mind the spoiler, so I let him tell me what it was, and I was left scratching my head very significantly in a way that almost makes me not want to watch the show, just because I get the sense that they've kind of lost the plot a little bit. But I'm hopeful that's not the case and that maybe it's just these first couple of episodes where they're trying to maybe build some momentum

It's. Yes, I have seen both Sin City movies. Actually. I know the sequel gets kind of forgotten because it got released so late and didn't have much fanfare, but yeah, I've seen both those movies and enjoyed both those movies. Like the classic noir take

But honestly, from my perspective, I would kind of encourage a little bit more experimentation because this seems like a lot of film is pretty much the same these days. And it'd be nice to see something I don't want to say original because obviously it's been done before, but something a little different and I think could obviously be fun to cut on costs and do some of those more practical effects in a screenplay. But I know you've dropped a few more chapters of Bank Holiday
