As a child, when I was an infant, I had visited Kolkata owing to the fact that my aunt and uncle lived in Kolkata for over 25 years. I have a lovely story to tell of when my beloved uncle recorded an entire city, an entire cassette in those days with a handicamera. And there was Kolkata for me, a five year old kid, where my uncle did a vlog when it wasn't even a thing. Back then. He recorded the malls here, city center mall here

And I believe that's what has always been a very defining factor for me when it comes to my city, that people here are so culturally inclined, from literature, poetry, music, to even politics in football, you will always find in any given street corner, people talking about these things, people discussing these things. And people take art, culture, politics and even sports very, very seriously here
