Is it true that being overly serious makes us unhappy?

Jeff friends, I would like to share some opinions on the matter. Is it true that being extremely serious makes us unhappy? Taking things seriously implies that you want to see things happen and are willing to put up effort. But when you become overly serious, you often lose sight of everything else in your life. People may associate their joy and satisfaction with fulfilling a single life goal. They get so preoccupied that they miss out on the simple pleasures of life they frequently avoid

I'd like to share some opinions on the matter. Is it true that being extremely serious makes us unhappy?

Hello. I agree with your point. Serious people can't enjoy the stupid things of their life. They never laugh on their own mistakes and in my opinion, this is not a good thing. We have only one life, we have to enjoy all its part, even the worst period of our life. And our comedians are the best example of this. And the common thing is that they all belong to poor or middle class families and face so many struggle in their life
